Hand Etched Champagne Glasses With Custom Wood Showcase

Dragonfly Beach

$ 200.00

This is easily one of my most beautiful pieces.  Hours of craftsmanship have gone into every ounce of this creation, and in my humble opinion, the concept, the glasses and finally the showcase could not have come together more perfectly.

For the glasses, I selected some very elegant, 11 inch tall, red champagne flutes with clear stems.  I had the concept for the etching in my head before I found them so I was in search of the perfect canvas and found it in this pair.

The etching on both glasses is done completely by hand and is an original, unique design of mine.  The etching completely wraps both glasses and features two roses on one side whose stems twist and wrap around the glass to the other side where they form a heart.  They really are stunning.

When the glasses were complete I knew they needed a special way to display them.  So I made a showcase from cedar and poplar that is a worthy vessel.  The box is signed, measures 14 3/4 x 11 7/8 x 5 3/4 and is lined in a deep red velvet.  I fashioned a set of pedestals that lift the base of the glasses just above the window opening in the door so that the entire glass can still be seen when the door is shut.  The door is hinged in brass, has a magnetic catch and holds a piece of super strong 1/4" thick piece of Optix plexiglass.  The tops of the glasses rest snugly in the upper wood bracket so that they can be safely displayed standing as well as laying down.

I couldn't be happier with how this set turned out and to be honest, the pictures don't compare to the real thing.  Whether it becomes the perfect wedding gift, anniversary gift, or just that amazing set of glasses you and someone special have to have to toast all of your special occasions for a lifetime to come, I know you'll love them as much as I do.

Please feel free to contact me personally if you have any questions or need some more pics before you decide, but don't wait too long.  This is an awesome piece and surely won't be in my hands much longer.

Cheers,
Jeff
